Buddy is still visiting the new feeding station but remains suspicious of the new trap.We are hoping with time he will loose his fear and go into the trap. The date stamp on this picture is incorrect - It should be 02-17-1012.
I'm sure you have already done this, but have you used a really yummy-smelling bait, such as chicken or bacon or tuna or cheese? Maybe that would draw a hungry dog closer.
Mary thank you for the suggestion. We have tried feeding him all kinds of wonderful food. He has only eaten a few times from our feeding stations. We feel he is getting food from some other source such as a feral cat colony or some nice neighbor or business. We are hoping to hear from the person(s) feeding him . If you know anyone that may be feeding any animals outdoors or who has had their trash can knocked over or torn apart please message us. Thanks!
